1. Ireland uses the Euro! I kept trying to buy some chips from a machine with pounds before I asked someone. Lucky I had some change from Greece so I could buy it!

2. Postboxes are Green... of course!

3. 'ficsean' is the Celtic word for fiction. It was like the bookstore was telling me where I should be looking.

4. Based on the nightlife here you might think that this neigbourhood is called Temple Bar because of the number of bars and that everyone comes here to worship them. It is actually named after a guy (Sir Temple) who lived near here and the 'bar' which is a strip of land near the river.
