Kim is on her way back to Egypt :(
I am now waiting around to find out if I can get on the bus trip to Cappadocia which is pretty much booked up. Cappadocia should be pretty cool: It is where there are these volcanic chimmneys have been carved out by early Christians to make homes and churches.
Useless trivia...In Turkey they put the pepper in the shaker with the single hole and salt in the shaker with three holes.

Orıent hostel was full so we ended up at the Sultans hostel. They are all pretty much ın the same block.
I am ın Cappaducıa rıght now. It ıs pretty cool.
I wıll look ınto Efesus to see ıf I can fıt ıt ın. Otherwıse I am off to Athens soon.
As per the shakers, it works the same way in Italy. The rule is not that rigid, but you can count on more holes in the salt shaker than in the pepper one.
